This pair was named “Kyaato” a boat-like structure, hand-carved from a big tree trunk. It is used as a container where African beer is brewed. The original design of this pair was created by Steven, one of the young people we empower. Growing up, Steven used to support his father to brew local beer back in their home town in Masaka, a district well known for the production of “matooke” the staple food in Buganda.
