The ARTISTIC Denim Kimono is cut from durable denim in one easy, unisex shape that sits the same on every body. It wears open at the front, with the weight to hold its line and soften as you wear it.

The design sits on the two front lower pockets, each printed with a design inspired by an original painting by a child in our programme, here Blue Faces by Namakula. Patterned African ribbon finishes the edges; ribbon colour may vary. Machine washable, do not bleach.

The artwork: I love African faces. Every face tells a story of culture, resilience, joy, and belonging, and I wanted to celebrate that. Blue is my favourite colour; to me it means peace, confidence, and endless possibilities. Painting these faces in shades of blue brings together the beauty of being African and the colour that makes me feel calm and hopeful. Every face carries a story worth seeing.
