During the lockdown, we planted a lot of crops including maize, cabbage and other vegetables so that they could grow fast and provide us with the food we needed since my parents were no longer working. Back in our village in Masaka, my father constructed a new house for my grandmother. The house in which she used to stay in had gotten old and almost was collapsing. My father decided to build a new one just next to the old house as a birthday gift for his mother a she made 75 years. In this artwork, is my grandmother seated in front of her old house weaving a mat while me and my sister going to fetch water on the tap. – Namuganga
