Every animal deserves to have a home. A place where it can sleep without being disturbed. This artwork is about a birdhouse that community members built for a bird that woke them up every day. This story was from a book that I read, but I don’t remember the name. What I recall is how beautiful the bird was and its house too. – Swabura

At school, no one knew about comic art, and now, many know him as a comic artist. He started drawing when he was a senior because he enjoyed reading comic books. One day, he challenged himself to draw all the animations he watched. He wants to get better and use his comics to educate people about different things and entertain them. As he learns more about comics–he wants to venture into photography, videography, animations, and movies. As a research-oriented artist, this has helped him better his style and content. He walks to internet cafes to surf and learn more about comics, other artists in the world.

During the lockdown, we planted a lot of crops including maize, cabbage and other vegetables so that they could grow fast and provide us with the food we needed since my parents were no longer working. When we were planting, it was so tiring but when it reached harvesting time, everyone was so happy since we saw the reward of our energy. I can’t forget that time – Mulukusa
