On the days we dont go to school, we talk amongst ourselves to wake up early so that we can do our chores in time. When any of us is finished with her chores at their home, we go to help those that haven’t. When we are all done, we go for playing. Mayambala, 16 years, Ugandan. Just like when people enjoy football, he enjoys comics. Julius loves to draw every time. At school, no one knew about comic art, and now, many know him as a comic artist. He started drawing when he was a senior because he enjoyed reading comic books. One day, he challenged himself to draw all the animations he watched. He wants to get better and use his comics to educate people about different things and entertain them. As he learns more about comics–he wants to venture into photography, videography, animations, and movies. As a research-oriented artist, this has helped him better his style and content. He walks to internet cafes to surf and learn more about comics, other artists in the world.
