Love for flowers and butterflies

Back in our village in Masaka, my father constructed a new house for my grandmother. The house in which she used to stay in had gotten old and almost was collapsing.  My father decided to build a new one just next to the old house as a birthday gift for his mother a she made 75 years.  In this artwork, is my grandmother seated in front of her old house weaving a mat while me and my sister going to fetch water on the tap. – Namuganga

My father works in Kosovo trading centre as a Boda Boda rider. They have a stage where they park their motorcycles in front of a mobile money shop.  At their stage, when they see a customer coming, every one of them rushes to go and pick him or her. He tells me that life there is fun but sometimes challenging because some days, he can return without any money because customers are lost. I did this artwork to celebrate my father and his job, I hope to become a doctor when I grow up and support my family. – Agaba

At home, my mother rears chicken and when they are old, she sells them. This is a business she has done for a while and been able to support our family. In this artwork, I painted her going to feed them. – Micparotch
