So far, 167 students in both primary and secondary level have raised their school fees because of the purposeful purchases from people like you. Additionally, to curb the high youth unemployment rate in Uganda, we established a workshop where we have trained 20 young women and men in hands-on skills as well as offered employment to 2 youths as trainers.
On 8th February 2022, we enabled Hashim, a 14 year undergo a neurosurgery after having sustained a blood clot in the skull due to a hit and run accident he was involved in as he headed to school. 2000 USD was raised through sale of his artwork, products and donation. Sometimes we go out of our way to make sure that all the young people we empower are safe, this is one of the many examples.
Our efforts also contribute to the recycling of single-use plastics and old car tires, which would become dangerous to our planet.
When our efforts meet with your social consciousness, it's the young people who feel the impact. This impact starts from planting a seed of education, which puts them in better positions to sprout into dreamers, achievers, and change-makers.
