Partnership

Agriculture is the backbone of Uganda because it provides us with food. When you plant your seeds, you have a hope to harvest at the right time. When you don’t plant, there’s nothing to harvest at all.  This artwork is of me together with my mother and young sister while planting some vegetables in our backyard garden.  –Najjuma

My father works as a Boda Boda man. Both my parents are so proud of it. At first, my father used to ride someone else’s motorcycle but I call in 2028, he bought his own from the money he had saved for a while. When he brought it home, my mother was the first person he carried on it. We were all so happy.  – Banfula
