As little children, our parents used to take us to the playgrounds to swing. Every child loved to be at the playgrounds. We made a lot of new friends and also meet old ones too. These memories are still in my head and that’s why I am able to paint them. – Ninsima

Back in our village in Masaka, my father constructed a new house for my grandmother. The house in which she used to stay in had gotten old and almost was collapsing. My father decided to build a new one just next to the old house as a birthday gift for his mother a she made 75 years. My father works in Kosovo trading centre as a Boda Boda rider. They have a stage where they park their motorcycles in front of a mobile money shop. At their stage, when they see a customer coming, every one of them rushes to go and pick him or her. He tells me that life there is fun but sometimes challenging because some days, he can return without any money because customers are lost. I did this artwork to celebrate my father and his job, I hope to become a doctor when I grow up and support my family. – Agaba
