Love for Porridge Tee

When people hear where I come from, they often imagine hardship. They see poverty before they see people. But I see something different. I see children laughing together. I see neighbours sharing what little they have. I see joy hiding inside ordinary moments. This painting captures one of those moments. The child holding a cup full of porridge reminds me of myself. Happiness doesn't always come from having everything. It comes from having something you cherish. It comes from sharing a simple meal with others.
